Lots of schools offer incentives to students who meet certain goals, like throw a pie at the principal's face or make the principal kiss a pig, but one Sioux City school got creative with the idea this year.
Liberty Elementary students got to tape their principals to the wall.
The duct tape event came as a reward for meeting their growth goals on standardized tests.
Principal Stacie Henderson says, "Each student who either met their goal, scored proficient or advanced on the assessments, got to have a piece of tape for myself and a piece of tape for Mrs. Moser. They got to put it wherever they wanted."
There were 450 students in grades 2 through 5 who got to take part.
Last year students were rewarded with a chance to turn their principals into human sundaes, so at least this year was slightly less messy!
