Maintainer will be adding a new expansion to its campus in Sheldon


    Maintainer, which makes custom-built bodies for mechanics trucks, service trucks and rescue equipment is adding a new 28,000 square foot manufacturing facility to its campus in Sheldon.

    A Northwest Iowa business is expanding yet again.

    Maintainer, which makes custom-built bodies for mechanics trucks, service trucks and rescue equipment is adding a new 28,000 square foot manufacturing facility to its campus in Sheldon.

    The new building will be located south of Maintainer's current facility in Sheldon on the site of the old R-V Central location off the Highway 60 Bypass.

    Along with the new building Maintainer will also add 20 to 30 new jobs.

    This will be the company's third expansion in the last four years.

    Groundbreaking is set for this spring with the new facility opening by the fall.
