Man wanted for jail escape arrested following WalMart theft, pursuit
A homeless man in Norfolk is facing criminal charges after being caught stealing from a Walmart.
42-year-old Thomas Scdoris was arrested around 1:15 Tuesday morning after a police chase where officers used "stop sticks" to disable the vehicle.
That chase started after Scdoris and an accomplice allegedly walked out of Walmart with an entire cart of items without paying.
Scdoris was found with some of the stolen items and a pipe with meth residue.
He was already wanted for escape from a jail near Lincoln and is currently being held in the Madison County Jail.
Police are still looking for his accomplice.
