Sioux City's Miracle Riders returned to UnityPoint Health St. Luke's Wednesday morning to show off a new addition to the hospital.
They unveiled a busy board, which helps pediatric patients develop and train their motor skills.
That board was funded by the money raised by the riders during their cross-country trip last fall.
"Our journey kinda tries to represent what the kids go through the struggles and everything. So, to be able to see our journey help their journey really brings a lot of pride to us, " Lead Miracle Rider, Matt Thompson, told us.
Thompson says beyond the events surrounding the ride, it's important to show the community just how their donations benefit the kids at St. Luke's.
"We really want to let everyone know that hey, you're funds are helping, look what they're doing for the kids. Everything you've raised is something that's going to help these kids improve their motor skills or their speech functions or later we have this sensory room. All these things to help these kids improve their lives, " said Thompson.
In the four years that the Miracle Riders have been riding and raising money, they have raised over $150,000.
