Mother accused of abducting children in Tuesday's Amber Alert arrested in Sioux City
The mother of the three children abducted from Clay County, Iowa Tuesday is now in custody.
Danica Arzaga was arrested around 4:30 P.M. Wednesday on Sioux City's northside.
She is currently being held in the Woodbury County Jail and is facing three counts of Kidnapping in the Third Degree, all Class “C” Felonies and is being held on $30,000 bond.
She is accused of abducting her three children, Olivia Sophia Arzaga, 4 , Adia Johnson-Enos, 8 and her twin, Lillian Johnson-Enos, 8, Tuesday from their grandmothers home in Royal, Iowa.
The abduction prompted an Amber Alert for the state of Iowa.
The children were found Tuesday evening in Sanborn, Iowa, but Arzaga was still on the run.
