Nebraska firefighter killed in accidental shooting
A Northeast Nebraska firefighter is being mourned this Wednesday night after dying in an accidental shooting last week in Central Nebraska.
18-year-old Colton Jensen of Hoskins was a firefighter for Hoskins-Woodland Park Fire Rescue.
He died last week at a hospital in Kearney after accidentally shooting himself in the Loup County town of Taylor last Tuesday, according to the Loup County Attorney's Office.
Jensen's funeral will take place Friday at 11 am at Christ Lutheran Church in Norfolk with a visitation Thursday from 4 pm to 7 pm at Stonacek Funeral Home in Norfolk.
