A former Nebraska man is heading to prison for at least a dozen years after being convicted of sexually assaulting a young girl.

60-year-old Paul Lovell, formerly of Norfolk, was arrested and returned to Nebraska last year after an investigation into past sexual abuse of a minor.

He's now been sentenced to 12 to 24 years in prison after being convicted of abusing the child at a home in Stanton sometime before 2011.
