SIOUX CITY, Iowa — We have an update on the Argonaut Apartments after giving residents 48 hours to move out after the building was red-tagged last week.

According to Sioux City's Neighborhood Services, at least 20 units were occupied when the building was red-tagged. Neighborhood Services Staff went to the apartments to speak with the residents about their options adding that the Section 8 wait list is very short right now. Some who were left homeless were instantly helped by being provided with a list of landlords with properties available for rent.

The Community Action Agency is helping them with homeless prevention as well.
