New details from ICE raid including 70hr work weeks, money taken from paychecks
There are shocking, new details following last week's ICE raid in O'Neill and other Nebraska communities.
In a federal court hearing, authorities said they broke up a scheme that provided illegal labor to companies and that 17 people were part of that scheme.
They said the workers were subjected to 70-hour work weeks with no overtime.
They also got no benefits, no health insurance and had a $65 fee taken out of their paychecks.
Officials also revealed they took into custody 118 workers believed to be in the country illegally.
