Three people have been taken to the hospital, one in handcuffs, following a police chase through Morningside late Wednesday afternoon.

Police and US Marshals were looking for a man who had federal felony warrants out for his arrest.

The man, 41-year-old William Schoen got into a stolen black pickup on Third Avenue and tried to evade police.

Officers say he ran a red light at 6th and Hoeven Drive and collided with a car.

He was taken to Mercy Medical Center with severe lacerations on his arm.

A woman who was a passenger was taken to Unity Point Health- St. Lukes. So was the man who was driving the other vehicle.

Their conditions aren't known, but the injuries don't appear to be life-threatening.
