Police arrest man for several burglaries throughout Sioux City
The Sioux City Police Department has been investigating numerous burglaries throughout the city over the past few weeks.
Yesterday, Police arrested Matthew Earl Rausch, 30, for some of those burglaries.
Rausch was found to be active around: the 200-300 blocks of S Collins St, 2300 block of W 1st St, 400 block of Cook St and 2800 Block of W 5th St.
It is believed he is responsible for other burglaries that may have not been reported.
Police recovered numerous stolen items and were able to return most of them but some items are still being stored at the SCPD until an owner can be located.

The investigation is ongoing.
Rausch is being held in the Woodbury County Jail on a $12,000 bond.
