Rivalry between Iowa and Nebraska doesn't stop fans from coming together on game day

While most were rooting on the Hawkeyes, we did encounter a Nebraska fan "in disguise" after losing a bet, but no matter who they were rooting for, they all agreed Bob Roe's was the place to be.

Friday morning the Iowa Hawkeyes took on the Nebraska Cornhuskers in their annual rivalry game.

Dozens of people filled Bob Roe's Point After to watch the game.

While most were rooting on the Hawkeyes, we did encounter a Nebraska fan "in disguise" after losing a bet, but no matter who they were rooting for, they all agreed Bob Roe's was the place to be.

"It's the atmosphere, good food, good service, what more could you ask for? Go Big Red."

"Been coming here for about 25 years ever since I was a kid."

"And who's gonna win?"

"Oh we got the Hawks today for sure bud."

Iowa ended up winning the game, 31 to 28 on a last-second field goal.

They have now won the last 4 games between the two teams, but Nebraska still leads the all time series 29 to 17 with 3 ties.
