Several Northwest Iowa counties flooded
Several Northwest Iowa communities are dealing with flooding after days of sometimes heavy rain and now agencies from the local to the state level are reacting.
This is video from the Sioux County community of Sheldon where you can see the local golf course was underwater thanks to rain and overflow from the nearby Floyd River.
This is video from Iowa State Patrol Trooper Vince Kurtz north of Sheldon this morning showing water flowing over County Road L- 36 in Sioux County.
That water closed that road for nearly 5 hours but it has since re- opened to traffic.
And this is video from Dickinson County's Emergency Management Department showing one of three rural roads covered by water from flooded Stony Creek.
You can see a car stranded in the floodwaters and everyone in the car was able to get out safely.
Emergency services are reminding everyone never to drive through flooded roads.
