Sioux Center approves bid for new aquatic center
A northwest Iowa community is moving forward with plans to build a new aquatic center.
Sioux Center's City Council approved the final bid for that project, allowing planning to get underway for a groundbreaking on the project.
The new aquatic center will be built near the existing outdoor pool at Sioux Center's All Seasons Center, with full construction beginning once the summer swim season ends.
The city's contractor expects the project to be complete in time for the pool's opening in May of 2019.
