Sioux City man charged with domestic abuse, accused of choking and hitting wife
A Sioux City man is charged with domestic assault after an argument with his wife escalated to violence Tuesday night.
37-year-old Dustin Fegenbush was arrested yesterday after his wife reported the attack to police.
According to court documents, Fegenbush is accused of hitting and choking her in a van outside 227 North Helen, then dragging her by the hair into the house and bodily slamming her into appliances and cabinets before ripping her clothes off and demanding sex.
Once she refused, he hit and choked her again, nearly causing her to pass out, before apologizing and refusing to let her leave to seek medical treatment.
Fegenbush is charged with domestic assault and assault with the intent to commit sexual abuse.
He's being held on $16,000 bond.
