UPDATE: Sioux City PD arrest man for lottery theft

Police say Hill redeemed tickets knowing they were stolen.

UPDATE: A Sioux City man has been arrested and charged with Lottery-Forgery or Theft of Ticket after police posted a video of him on their Facebook page.

Court documents say that Dustin Hill, 35, of Sioux City, back in October redeemed two Iowa lottery scratch tickets for $40 and $50.

Those tickets were stolen from the Riverside General Store.

Police say Hill redeemed these tickets knowing they were stolen and also cashed in another ticket he knew was stolen at PG mini mart on Hamilton Blvd for $30.

Hill is currently in the Woodbury County Jail on a $3,500 bond with a preliminary hearing scheduled for December 11th.

The Sioux City PD is asking for help in identifying a suspect in a lottery theft case.

The suspect shown in the video is believed to be cashing in stolen lottery tickets at multiple locations.
