Siouxlanders urges the President to continue Mueller Investigation with peaceful protest

The protesters hope our local Congressional delegation will respond to what's happening when they return to Washington.

A peaceful protest took place in front of the Federal building in downtown Sioux City Thursday evening, just two days after the midterm elections.

Local protesters gathering to urge President Trump to continue the Mueller investigation.

They feel the investigation is in jeopardy with the firing of Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

"I think we really need to get to the bottom of the Mueller investigation to find out what the truth is. If Trump is innocent he shouldn't have anything to be afraid of but clearly he does by this move of firing Jeff Sessions," said Susan Leonard.

The protesters hope our local Congressional delegation will respond to what's happening when they return to Washington.

This protest was just one of hundreds held nationwide.
