South Sioux Police search for suspect after shooting
Wednesday night, just after 10:30 PM, South Sioux City Police responded to a shooting call in the 300 block of East 16th Street.
According to a witness, a person had been shot with a BB gun.
It was later determined the victim, 18-year-old Yisak Ketma of South Sioux City, had sustained a small caliber gunshot wound to his right leg.
Ketma was transported to Mercy Hospital by the South Sioux City Fire Department for a non-life-threatening injury.
After the shooting, the suspect ran from the area.
Police say the suspect is described as a Hispanic male, the investigation is still going on, but robbery appears to be a possible motive.
