Three arrested for trafficking stolen firearms

Sioux City Police have arrested three people for trafficking stolen guns.

31-year-old Matthew Lynam, 24-year-old Daniel Powell and 26-year-old Colton Novak are all charged with trafficking stolen firearms.

Lynam and Powell were arrested after a traffic stop Wednesday morning turned up two stolen guns in their car, guns they said they'd gotten from Novak's house.

Police there found another stolen gun as well as a stolen ATV.

Lynam and Powell remain in the Woodbury County Jail, while Novak is free on bond.
