Trail and Boswell charged for Sydney Loofe's death are back in court

Back in court

Two people accused in the killing and dismembering of Neligh, Nebraska native Sydney Loofe were back in court today.

Aubrey Trail and Bailey Boswell are charged with first- degree murder and improper disposal of human remains in the death of Sydney Loofe.

Loofe disappeared on November 15th after a second date with Boswell.

Authorities say, they met on the dating app tinder.

Her remains were discovered in garbage bags about two weeks later in a rural area.

Authorities suspect Trail strangled her to death with an electrical cord, and that Boswell and Trail bought tools earlier that day and then used them to dismember her.

Trail has described Boswell as his girlfriend.

Trail's case was bound over to district court after he waived a further hearing on the evidence today.

Boswell appeared in court by video monitor.

The judge granted her request to have her case continued as she decides whether she wants a preliminary hearing.
