Briar Cliff implementing turf at Faber Field for fall athletic season

SIOUX CITY, Iowa — Briar Cliff University is set to make a change to their campus, putting down turf at Faber Field on campus to help it become the Chargers' newest home field.

The new Faber Field would replace Memorial Stadium as the home stadium for the Chargers men's and women's soccer teams, as well as the football team. BCU coaches and staff believe this will help provide a spark to their athletic programs and student life on campus.

The project is set to start in May and is expected to be able to host Briar Cliff home games starting this fall.
